NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 – Structure and measure your cyber maturity

Cyber risk management and maturity

The NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 is a cyber risk management framework usable by organizations of every size and sector. It provides a common language for understanding, assessing, prioritizing, and communicating cybersecurity objectives. Version 2.0 notably strengthens the governance dimension.

It is particularly effective for IT and security teams that want an objective view of their maturity level, want to build a roadmap, or want to present cyber priorities to leadership without immediately committing to a certification process.

The NIST CSF makes it possible to establish a current profile and a target profile, identify the gaps, and turn them into investment priorities aligned with the organization's real risks.

Indicative effort: 6 to 16 weeks for a complete assessment and roadmap; 40 to 120 internal person-hours; approximately 80 to 200 Quantum Beyond hours. An in-depth implementation of the corrective measures can then extend over 6 to 24 months.

Quantum Beyond can use the NIST CSF as a cross-cutting assessment covering governance, identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover, then connect the results to ISO 27001, Zero Trust, IAM, cyber resilience, or other requirements.

Above all, the organization gains something essential: a structured view of where it stands, where it wants to go, and which investments will produce the greatest reduction in risk.
