Your mission

You will help organizations protect the integrity of their information, their communications, and their decision-making processes against manipulation attempts. You will study, among other things, disinformation, influence operations, deepfakes, identity spoofing, and the artificial amplification of content.

Your work will bring together the human, technological, communications, and organizational dimensions needed to prevent, detect, and manage information attacks.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the organization’s exposure to information manipulation.
• Analyze risks affecting reputation, executives, and decisions.
• Identify misleading narratives, coordinated campaigns, and influence operations.
• Examine how content spreads and is amplified.
• Assess the risks associated with deepfakes and synthetic content.
• Design mechanisms for validating authenticity and provenance.
• Define information verification protocols.
• Protect sensitive executive and institutional communications.
• Design information crisis scenarios.
• Develop prevention, detection, and response strategies.
• Support leadership, communications, cybersecurity, and legal affairs teams.
• Facilitate simulation exercises.
• Train executives and employees to recognize manipulation techniques.
• Take part in designing digital trust systems.
• Produce executive analyses and recommendations.
• Develop Quantum Beyond’s methods and capabilities in this field.

Profile sought

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in information integrity, intelligence, strategic communications, cybersecurity, or crisis management.
• Understanding of influence operations and disinformation mechanisms.
• Knowledge of how generative AI is used to produce and manipulate content.
• Ability to analyze the interactions between people, platforms, algorithms, and networks.
• Experience managing sensitive or high-visibility situations.
• Excellent judgment and critical analysis skills.
• Very strong writing and communication skills.
• Discretion, neutrality, and professional integrity.
• Professional French and English.

Assets

• Training in communications, intelligence, cybersecurity, political science, social psychology, or a related field.
• Experience in crisis communications or reputation protection.
• Knowledge of OSINT methods and network analysis.
• Experience verifying digital content.
• Knowledge of content provenance and authentication technologies.
• Experience in the government, military, media, or financial sectors.
• Current or previous security clearance.
