Practice Director – Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement

Your mission
You will lead Quantum Beyond's operational excellence and continuous improvement practice. You will advise senior executives on the sustainable improvement of their performance, processes, and organizational capabilities.
Your role will consist of developing the service offering, leading assessments, designing intervention strategies, and overseeing the implementation of solutions. You will ensure that Lean Six Sigma methods are adapted to the reality of each organization and produce concrete, measurable, and lasting results.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and evolve the operational excellence service offering.
- Conduct or supervise organizational and operational assessments.
- Advise executive management and operations leaders.
- Define improvement strategies, priorities, and roadmaps.
- Select the appropriate methods and tools based on the challenges.
- Structure the governance of continuous improvement programs.
- Supervise the consultants and specialists assigned to engagements.
- Engage the managers, employees, and partners involved.
- Define performance indicators and monitoring mechanisms.
- Measure operational, financial, human, and qualitative gains.
- Ensure consistency between processes, technologies, and business objectives.
- Develop the skills and autonomy of client teams.
- Take part in business development and the preparation of proposals.
- Contribute to Quantum Beyond's visibility and thought leadership.
Profile sought
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, transformation, or operations management.
- Significant experience leading Lean Six Sigma programs.
- Demonstrated ability to work with senior executives.
- Transformation experience in complex environments.
- Solid understanding of processes, operations, and management systems.
- Ability to connect improvement initiatives to business results.
- Inspiring leadership and excellent professional judgment.
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and communication skills.
- Professional French and English.
Assets
- Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience in practice management or consulting services development.
- Experience in several industry sectors.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and transactional environments.
- Experience in digital transformation, automation, or artificial intelligence.
- Advanced education in management, industrial engineering, operations, or a relevant field.
