Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026.

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies quantumbeyond.io uses, for what purpose, and how you can exercise your choices. It complements our privacy policy.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Other technologies serve comparable functions, notably the browser's local storage (localStorage), which we use to remember your consent choice. Cookies may be set by the site you are visiting (first-party cookies) or by a third party whose service is embedded in the site (third-party cookies).

Our approach

The site works without any non-essential cookie until you give your consent. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Audience measurement is enabled only if you accept it, and the IP address is anonymized.

Strictly necessary cookies and storage

These are essential to the operation and security of the site and do not require consent.

  • qb-cookie-consent (local storage, Quantum Beyond): remembers your choice to accept or decline audience-measurement cookies so the banner is not shown again. Kept until you clear your browser data or change your choice.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot verification (third party, Cloudflare Inc.): protects the contact and preliminary-analysis forms against automated submissions. Cloudflare may set a short-lived technical cookie (for example __cf_bm) strictly necessary for this verification.

Audience-measurement cookies (with your consent)

If you accept audience measurement, Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) is loaded and sets the following cookies on the quantumbeyond.io domain:

  • _ga: distinguishes visitors anonymously. Duration: 2 years.
  • _ga_<identifier>: maintains the measurement session state. Duration: 2 years.

This data is used solely to produce aggregate statistics (pages viewed, source, device) to improve the site. The IP address is anonymized and no Google advertising feature is enabled. Google may process this data in the United States; see Google's privacy policy for more information.

Third-party resources without cookies

To render its pages, the site loads web fonts from Google Fonts (Google LLC) and its icon library from the cdnjs content delivery network (Cloudflare Inc.). These providers receive your IP address, which is necessary to deliver the files, but do not set cookies to do so.

Your choices

  • Consent banner: on your first visit, you can accept or decline audience-measurement cookies. Declining has no effect on your browsing.
  • Changing your choice: at any time, click here to reopen the banner and change your decision. Withdrawing consent prevents any new cookie from being set; you can delete cookies already present in your browser settings.
  • Browser settings: all browsers let you block or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking all cookies may, however, affect how some sites work.

Changes

We update this policy when the technologies used on the site change. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
