Your mission

You will guide organizations in building and improving their cybersecurity governance, their risk management mechanisms, and their compliance programs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct maturity assessments and gap analyses.
• Design governance and risk management frameworks.
• Define policies, standards, procedures, and accountabilities.
• Map risks, controls, evidence, and obligations.
• Establish risk registers and treatment plans.
• Prepare organizations for external audits and assessments.
• Ensure consistency across the various applicable frameworks.
• Support governance committees and accountability reporting.
• Train and raise awareness among the managers and teams involved.

Profile sought

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in GRC, audit, or cybersecurity.
• In-depth knowledge of control and risk management frameworks.
• Excellent writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to connect obligations to operational realities.
• Ability to work diplomatically with multiple stakeholders.

Assets

• CISA, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or Lead Auditor.
• Experience in financial services, healthcare, government, or a regulated industry.
• Knowledge of SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, and Quebec's Law 25.
